yer but it has a better lumen rating for the wattage thats all im saying is its better for me where as 1000watt is better for you and hardcore grow ops. how tall can you grow with a 1000?

Wow seems like sumone got a dick shoved too far up his ass! The truth is cfl's are good, but no where near a hid. Im using cfl's for my grow right now and they are great for the money but who wants 50 fuckin lights in their room when the can have one that will do 2x as much?

Only in your dreams will CFLs out perform HIDs. I use CFLs for veg to save money. I use ten 6500k bulbs rated at 100w and use 23w each. So thats 1000w of CFL light but I use only 230w of electricity! My 400w HID performed much better with a lot less stretch so I rarely had to top my girls! With CFLs you have to top agressively to try and get them more bushy instead of long and lanky!

that's pretty good for CFL's from what i've seen. how many watts together? to give the man some cred i do believe CFL's are good for VEG, better than halide, but HPS, is better for flowering. i do think HPS would help make your buds bigger... but you know what you're doing it looks like. Sweet looking cola. buying 1 or 2 HID's might have been more cost efficient than buying multiple CFL's. but sweet looking plant dude here's a pic of my plant's 4top under the 400 watt HPS. 5 weeks flower.
