Hidden Grow - Hydro Leaf curling/Spots

Hey these are my first plants hidden in an attic next to a boiler to avoid heat detection. Have about 20 or so crammed into a small space and am going to start flowering soon so I can sex em and rip out the males, hopefully this will cut down on my stock, If I have too many females someone in IL is more than welcome to them. Have six big Bud Plants growing from the stealth hydro grow kit, The first two pics are my biggest one and her leaves seem to be curling and being a newb i dont know if this is a problem. I had the other plants which are a mix of everything from romulun, sour diesel, some random afgan, and long island sweet skunk (about four of each) growning in large planters and recently transplanted them to individual pots. Ive been vegging since about the second week of may and they seem to have done well, Ill give em another week to adjust to the new pots and then Im flowering the bastards. I have a 600 watt HID MH bulb for vegging and a 600 watt HPS for when i switch to flowering but I have also laden the room with 60 w daylight cfls just for shits and giggles. The second two photos are of one of my romuluns (or so i think, cant really remember) and seems to have some spots on her, cant tell if i just dropped nute solution on her or if its something worse. I have about 500 cfm blowing in and out constantly via some induct fans im using and some diy carbon filters i actually found out to make on this site! so I dont believe air is a problem. Ive checked PH and its slightly acidic but around 6 or 7 so i think im ok. Anyway any comments or suggestions would be appreciated! Please advise!

What kind of soil? Your post says hydro but you said you had them in planters? What nutes are you using? Illinois FTW!

Hey sorry about the vague description. I have the big bud plants growing in a bubbleponics container but the rest are just soil, Im using a mix of my own mulch at the root base, some miracle grow soil revitalizer layered with miracle grow potting soil for the body of the planter, topped off with a small layer of regular fireplace soot. Seemed to work well for my orchids so I figured It would do well for these girls but Im a newb so who knows. as far as adding nutrients I have the grow and bloom mix provided by stealth hydro and miracle grow irrigation formula. both of which are kept in constant circulation and I check the pH balance every day.

Miracle Grow.

In one way, I guess its a good pick because in the short 3 months I tried to grow with it I ran into pretty much EVERY issue you can have while growing a marijuana plant. They seem to do well at first but always have this ugly color to them, its an odd green. Those issues, random spots, off color, curling for no apparent reason, all issues I had with Miracle grow.

Find yourself foxfarm or a similar quality soil. I don't know WHY Miracle grow seems to hate pot but I have had the same issues with Miracle grow and now just stay away.

Not at all buddy! Foxfarm was a miracle worker for me, she had already been vegging for 2 months but went into shock in the miracle grow for like the last 3 weeks of that last month and didn't grow at all. I transplanted her, gave her some PHed water, 2 days later she is a beautiful green with new growth exploding and currently she is almost done and hanging heavy with NYC Red Diesel. Get some foxfarm and transplant and watch the transformation. Theres some hydro shops around Illinois, I know this place carries foxfarm soil and nutes for sure:

How warm is the nute solution getting? I've never grown using hydroponics but I've read that nute solution that is too warm will cause alot of problems. Try moving the solution to a cooler place and see if that helps any. The soil plants look good, looks like you got them under control. Good luck.

get your ph to 5.8 that curling is heat stress from the boiler and light probably you need to lower temps or you will have problems later, the spots are from ph being above 6 check it to 5.5 - 5.8
