well i have a little problem, i have a couple plants growing outdoors and i have some family coming over for a birthday party for my son. the plants are in a location where nobody will go, but they will be visible. what is the best method of hiding them for a couple of hours? they are only about 14-18 inches tall. i was thinking a 5 gal bucket over each one would this hurt them? thanks for any advice

it might interfere with their cycle a bit but so long as they don't cook under the bucket from heat it'll probably be okay, I would just want to get those buckets back off of them as quickly as possible.
Might not hurt to go the extra mile and stick a board over the two buckets and a potted plant on top of them to make it look like some sort of makeshift thing you put together.

now answer this, what is more noticeable, a 15 inch weed plant, or two perfectly placed upside down buckets in the middle of a yard?

lol that's why I suggested putting a board between the two of them and sticking something on top of it...

Can you just put a wheel barrow or some rakes or something to block the view? I wouldnt put a bucket over my plants unless it was really needed.

if there only 14 inches are you sure someone would notice them as weed plants. if it was me i would be lifting the buckets out of curiosity to see whats under them.

my question is what would happen to a kid if their dad was busted growing pot outside in plain site?
