High Bay/UFO LED Light for horticulture.

I was about to purchase a few cob leds to build a diy cob light system but then came across a UFO/High Bay LED 4000k 200w that was around 50 dollars cheaper that the diy cob system.

i have seen some companies selling these as grow lights, but have not seen any reviews on those products.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these lights.

share the particular ones you were thinking. i think its just slightly dated tech for the chips used, at least from what i remember. Certainly capable of growing lush plants.

looks like i cant due to not meeting certain requirements. (i need two likes?)

Lumiled part number L130-4080003000W21, 6.1v, 120mA, 95 lm, 130 lm/W, 0.732 Watt
So there must be about 330 LEDs on the board ≈ $50
Looks like a $70 Mean Well HBG-240 Driver
Nice housing/ heatsink.
Not a bad deal
Very poor uniformity. Thermal management issues, will not get 31,000 lm.
must be high above the canopy.
Replaces 1000W metal halide is Bullshit!

I'd still rather go with
13 Gen2 BXEB-L0560Z-40E2000-C-B3
31980 lm for less than $100.
≈180 watt, HLG-240 = $65
$30 aluminum and screws for frame
No thermal issues at 700mA
Can be inchs above the canopy
Could get by with seve 22" EB Gen 2 strips and still beat this High Bay lamp.
