Been lurking for a couple months working on some research, but decided to finally sign up and be an active member.

Long story short, after almost 20 years of smoking, I was forced to quit. Why? Because my grower (whom had been doing it for longer than I have been smoking) retired. And seeing that I'm older (late 30s), have a family of my own, I don't have the contacts I once had (and trust me, I tried to find some). It's been 3 months since I last smoked and I do miss it. I so prefer it over drinking! So, the only other option I have is to grow a few plants of my own indoors.

While I knew nothing of growing, these last 2 months have been very informative and I'm excited to get things going soon.

Looking forward to getting know some of you (to an extent..lol) and learning from some vets.

I'll be quite active in the Coco threads ;)

and to start with lets correct sumthing here .... IM from the great north ;)

nice to see more "same" ages smokers .. I was in your shoes 4 months ago .. well I can still buy it .. but have to make a drive and buy it from Ppl. I dont know/like and pay to mouch aso.

so my goal was just to grow 2-4 plants for personal use .. like Im sure yours is .. and nice to see somebody who actualy did some research fist .. for once :D I did it similar .. and also have some outdoors grows from way back .. before internet and Femi seeds .. back when pot had like 5% THC :D

and coco is a nice medium .. Im sure you be happy with it .. I use it . tho in a soil mix (30% coco and 70% organic soil mix)

but its clean .. give nice results .. easy to corect .. and can even be reused a few times .. need a flush . can even get some cheap coco flushing agent ..

Ooh well .. tell me if you need any helps .. Im here for the same :)

Thanks for the welcome Slip. I guess you're right...but people in the US refer to Canada as "TGWN", hence why I put that..lol (I forgot how global this site really is). I'm in southern Ontario which is actually further south than a some of the US.

I already have everything planned out, just have to finish buying all the pieces then start! I'm going with just Coco and perlite in a DR90II tent with 600W. Doing 4-5 plants and growing 2-3 times a year depending on the yield. That should get me by :)
