high humidity...help

ok so i have a 2'x2'x5' grow area with a 4" inline fan exhaust. I have a homemade ebb n flow sys. now i am having a problem with keeping my humidity down during flowering. its sitting around 60% during the 12 hrs of light and almost 70% during dark. im worried im going to get mold!? i have a fan on them all time. will this keep me dry? also any suggestions? thanks alot.

Don't worry. I've heard of lots of growers not being frightened by 60% humidity. The easiest way to keep mold away is to keep a clean grow space.

Yes, more venting wouldn't harm anyone. And it would be a great idea to add an outtake fan (Your outtake should always be lower than your intake). An outtake fan can really lower humidity.

If your grow space is closed off (like a grow cabinet) this method may work: place a bowl of rice close to your plants. The rice will absorb the humidity. This method works great for me (I have a grow cabinet), but didn't work at all for growers with grow rooms or with big or open grow spaces. If that is your case, buy a dehumidifier.
