There's only a small amount of the UVA in the boards - enough to produce a mild stress response (which you will probably notice as a stronger smell, initially) - so you won't have any issues putting your plants under the boards in the last week or so.
A lot of growers use "finishing lights" which are CMH 10,000K lamps with lots of UVA/B to increase the quality of their produce in the last week or two without a big impact on yields. You can do a search and check it out.
