High school bans sales of 'offensive' Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches

Just for the record tho, why do American parents not just make their kids lunches for them?

Surely it's at least 4x more expensive to buy un-nutritious premade crap than a loaf of bread and some fillers?

Most children of liberal parents get free lunches at school ( and by FREE I mean someone else paid for it ).

fuck off, ya racist bigoted homophobe turd.

no CEO should be making political statements in the name of an entire company and its thousands of employees who do not share those values.

by the way, it's spelled "principal", ya fucking dumbass.
By the way, it's spelled "dumb ass", ya fucking dumb ass.

The CEO was expressing HIS beliefs. He was in no way trying to say that all his employ shares his beliefs.

You lost this argument 2 or 3 posts ago Buck, and you fucking know it. That's why you started the name-calling. To distract people from your lack of convincing logical argument.

You just won't ever admit defeat, even when you are clearly wrong. I like that. You're OK by me Buck.

Political correctness gone fucking berserk. Reverse discrimination at its best.

Quote from article: "Ironically, the school district claims it embraces "inclusivity and diversity," which these days means, "think like us or else."
Sounds like the school will soon be sued. Unlawful restraint of trade.
Refusing to pay for your birth control is inflicting my beliefs on you if I'm your employer?

So my employer hasn't bought me a car. Have they trampled on my right to travel freely?
Buried in the ACA is a clause that forbids abortion to be included in any policies. Soon there will be a lawsuit filed to enforce that clause. The clause was put there in order to get certain DEMOCRAT legislator's vote. (Remember, not a single Republican voted for it) While a state can include it if they desire, they lose ALL Medicaid funding. Surely, Democrats will try to blame this on Republicans.

They won a SCOTUS decision allowing them to not include 4 abortifacients in their healthcare policies.
Wasn't that Hobby Lobby?
Chik Fil A is the company that the gay guy went through the drive thru and lambasted an innocent window jockey then posted the video on you-tube. In the name of tolerance of course.

It's seems from my reading that it's not even what you said above, it seems that they donated money to Christian Family groups who oppose same-sex marriage.

Which they don't even do anymore:

Tax filings for 2012 showed that Chick-fil-A created a new foundation, the Chick-fil-A Foundation, to grant to outside groups. It funded only one previous group, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Other filings for WinShape Foundation showed no funding for groups opposed to LGBT rights.[2]

You may well be correct. If the school does want the donation Chic Fil A wanted to make, then let them do without.

They lost the recipe to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Give them time, they are a special people and will figure it out.

So there are kids who get their lunches made still?

Maybe its just a different in our nations, but "school lunch" here means it came from home.
Some schools will confiscate home made lunches if they determine that the food does not meet dietary guidelines instituted by our awesome school lunch rule maker, Michelle Obama, I'm glad we voted for her to determine what our children will eat instead of the parents. Parents have it hard enough already, I am glad to give control of my children up to non elected government apparatchiks all the while paying all the expenses and doing all of the work. And if they fuck up? Yeah I am the one who is responsible, but god forbid If i try to discipline my child, then it's child abuse and i should be locked up. Even grounding your child may constitute abuse nowadays in America.

This is not worthy of it's own thread so I'll put it here mocking public schools.

kid gets detention for sharing his lunch
Kyle Bradford, 13, shared his chicken burrito with a friend who didn’t like the cheese sandwich he was given by the cafeteria.

Bradford didn’t see any problem with sharing his food.

"It seemed like he couldn't get a normal lunch so I just wanted to give mine to him because I wasn't really that hungry and it was just going to go in the garbage if I didn't eat it," said Bradford.

All this right hating left bullcrap I see is just the ignorance of those poster's.. wake the fuk up already. There really are more than 2 parties and this fake left vs right is just a game the Man uses to pit middle class against each other while They steal everything.. p.s. don't show how deep your stupidity runs by labeling me either left or right.

My daughter had it happen to her. Her and the child she swapped with were both punished.

Reason we were given by the vice principal was food allergies. Neither child was allergic to any item in either child's lunch box.

That's one of the few complaints I have about her school.

I had an issue like that too, I told the school if they want to decide what he's gonna eat they'll need to come to my house every morning at 7.30am and do the rest of the parenting too, since they are so wise and caring.

It was over a bottle of fruit juice...a low sugar fruit juice that's even advertised as apparently kind to teeth.

"Progressives" need to just shut the fuck up and mind their own business.

I am for equal right of everybody to self determine the use of their own body.
the way you want things to go has been tried in the past, it led to unequal rights of everybody to determine the use of their own bodies.

for example, black people couldn't determine to use their bodies to go into a store and buy goods and services like whites could.

that is what you advocate returning to. the right to refuse service based on skin color (or as you so euphemistically characterize it, the "right of everybody to self determine the use of their own body") still exists, it';s called a private club ya fucking racist twit.

I think they should pay for it.
they do when they buy a health insurance policy, they also pay for your prostate health too while they're at it.

maybe you should pay for your own men's health issues, it's only a few hundred or thousand out of pocket for you every year. what's the big deal?

The company was started and run by a devout Christian, hence the lefties hate it.
no, your predictable stormfront propaganda (anti white, anti christian, commie progressive etc) is false.

chic fil A started to be hated after it was discovered that they proudly donated to a HATE GROUP known to fund the efforts of those who help to pass bills that murder people for being gay.

take your rhetoric, propaganda and lies back to stormfront.

Are you saying now that being a healthy woman is a disease?... If you're not out having sex you won't have to worry about.
you dumb fuck, take a fucking biology lesson. learn how a woman's body works.

hormonal birth control pills are taken for a number of reasons completely unrelated to responsible family planning.
