High Temps for 8 Hours Are my Plants gonna be stressed?

Its my first grow and my temps stupidly hit 120F for about 8-9 Hours as I forgot to turn my Fan On when the Lights Came back on! Im worried that its gonna stress my babies as there only 2 weeks old! Could someone please give me some reassurance that all will be ok. I understand that in the outdoor world temps fluctuate etc and sometimes there are unusually hot days but its my own stupid mistake :wall:

if you could show us what they look like, we could help you. but that is way to high for that long of time. mine got heat stressed at 90f but they recovered. what strain is it?

No they are still green and looking fine!.....For now anyway and they are White Widow and sorry but I aint posting pictures

I agree it is not a good idea to post lots of bragging pictures of big plants and harvests. But close up pics of a part of a plant for diagnostic purposes is not an issue even for the paranoid. If you can't post a picture with a problem like this, there isn't much point in raising the question.

120 is crazy hot and they are still nice and green? There is no way dude. 120 for 8-9 hours would have turned them into dried little leaves. (I say that because you called them babies and said only 2 weeks old).

get a timer so ur fan turns on when your does. I have that setup and have no issues. My temps would only get to 95 with the door closed so one more fan in there will solve the issue!!

Fans are fine but you need fresh intake and outlet holes. If you dont have that, then you are just blowing hot air around. Its like riding a motorcycle in 120 degree heat....thats 120 degrees of hot a$$ air blowing straight on you. Find some cooler air intake that you can bring in and something to exhaust the hot air. Thats what will help.

If your babies were in 120 degrees for 8-9 hours and not dead they are definetely heat stressed. Take good care of them and they should come out of it considering they lived through the worst part. Sorry I can't offer any comforting words.

co2 is real good for heat stress. a seltzer bottle and a co2 cartridge or the old school way, 1 gallon jug +yeast, water and suger

Thanks I may be new but I do have intake and exhaust fans and the temps are always spot on the fans are always on a timer but I unplugged them and didn't set them right. The temps were at 120 under the lights on top of the pots but the ambient air temperature would have been lower.
Oh and there is co2 tablets in water to keep co2 levels up and humidity right.

I just forgot to reset the timers like an idiot after changing a few things.

The temps were at 120f directly under the lights on top of the pots so the ambient air temps would be lower would this make any difference?

120F is high, but I got plants around that heat for a whole run (110f) and they survived until harvest. buds were pure crap, but the plants DID survive.
I had much more delicate genetics than a White Widdow that is a very hardy plant.

Luckily they are still alive and looking ok and young and they have plenty of time to recover so hopefully it won't affect the final results, I just wanted to see if they would recover from any stress it may have caused
