As long as you have the heat sink. I built my first V29 a couple years ago. I used vinyl fenceposts for cool tubes. I use 16 3590's now passive cool hood but expect to switch back to v29's 3k next year. Good cob. I believe I like the 3k 29's a bit better.

tens is ac i think you will find, my point precisely, thousands of volts ac can be moderately safe because it induces spasms, dc would induce a death grip.

It's all about current. I love Tesla. My amateur radio amp uses 6kv on the plate at 1.5 amps. Very lethal. I also work on eb welders 100000 volts. Yep I know my dc. EB welders are amazing. It's a Giant metal vacuum tube made of metal that welds parts together with an electron beam. We have 6 Hamilton Standards. Amazing CNC machine. Check them out on YouTube. The hv cable is in a nitrogen jacket. Very lethal.

touching a slightly shorted handle or nicking a rod isn't the same as licking the glass housing of a thyratron. in dc, you're generally running low amps and higher voltage. straight from a text book:
"While any amount of current over 10 milliamps (0.01 amp) is capable of producing painful to severe shock, currents between 100 and 200 mA (0.1 to 0.2 amp) are lethal. Currents above 200 milliamps (0.2 amp), while producing severe burns and unconsciousness, do not usually cause death if the victim is given immediate attention. Resuscitation, consisting of artificial respiration, will usually revive the victim."
so be careful with dc, it will kill you much quicker than ac.
lol ok, if youre tongue fucking your lights, there are bigger issues at hand than how you happen to wire them.

High current DC (with enough voltage) & high voltage AC (with enough current = will blow your fucking bone out your elbow if you screw into it with force, man as a generator engineer/professional audio installer i've seen some shit... even seen dudes fly off ladders 20ft high lol
