I KNOW THIS IS MY FIRST POST, EVEN IF IT WAS MY 100TH MY MESSAGE WOULD BE THE SAME hgs IS LEGIT.THEY SELL GREAT STRAINS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABOVE AND BEYOND MOST SEEDBANKS I HAVE DELT WITH.I HAVE GROWN THERE SEEDS AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS :peace:

I'm new to the forum, and trying to get hydro going for the first time. But my experience with Highgrade is I mailed my money on August 9th, and got the goodies on the 22nd. I obviously haven't grown anything yet so can't testify to the quality, but they delivered quite quickly, especially when taking the speed, or lack thereof, of the Canadian mail into account.

I ordered my HGS seeds on Sunday
and got them on Wed, in the USA
back when you could use a credit card.


The genetics were pretty good, I think.

and the only one to guarantee delivery.

I like HGS,
and can recommend the PC.

I sent them $50 cash for some seeds and they said they never got it. Yeah right; the fucking mailman just happened to lose that one.

I sent cash, but wrapped in several layers of paper inside an Priority Mail envelope with tracking. It cost more but since it was cash, I wanted to watch it. Arrived no problem and he shipped out the next day. I was VERY happy with HGS.

Did you use tracking?

If this kid had simply said "Yo, HGS sucks, stay away." We all would have pro'ly listened...but when someone clearly has a bone to pick, leaves out the 1st 2 e-mails and then acts all paranoid accusing people of being HighGrade employees it kinda makes me want to follow fdd's lead and order from HGS...maybe this kid works for HGS and is a master of reverse psychology, hmmm......

Its sad to see people lured into traps like this, the troll could easily be a competing site in which he wants to bad mouth his comp; however it could be a legitimate accusations coming from an individual who is borderline slow. But thats only my spin on things :-)

I was recommended by a fellow Aussie to check out HGS. And after reading this thread in its entirety I'm seriously considering placing an order asap. Ive sent them a couple of questions about payment and delivery to Oz and awaiting reply.

Fdd, good to hear all went well with yoru order.

Panhead, you said you ordered back in June. Did your seeds arrive?

Hotboy, you definitely were hot under the collar with HGS. Ive worked in sales dealing with the public for a couple of decades, and customers are definitely NOT 100% right all the time. In residential building sales we had to sometimes piss off very difficult customers. I told one annoying Indian guy (from India not USA lol) to f**k off (Gordon Ramsey style hehe) when he placed me under extreme stress over 2 weeks with ridiculous erroneous questions......his wife beat him around the ears for his stupid behaviour so he signed the contract...then cancelled a week later.....wish I never let him sign...all that wasted time.

I'll let you guys know how it goes with HGS. And NO, I dont work for them either. ;)

I placed an order with HGS about 4-5 weeks ago. Sent cash just like they ask you to. I am in the states and it takes two days to get to them. Well long story short, I never received anything and they blocked my IP address from posting or ordering from them. Ordered from Attitude last Monday (U.K. holiday at that) got my order yesterday. That is how it should be.

Got 2 email responses very quickly (within the hour) from HGS. Here's what they say if it helps anyone:

They also take International Money Orders in CAD$ and Paypal for customers DownUnder :) :) For speed I will go Paypal. I never would send cash by post.

Drugstorecowboy, sorry to hear it didnt work for you. Did you guys get into an argument for the ban to happen? Thanks for the UK recommendation. Might order from them as well. They have some classic strains there.

No actually I did not complain or question their lengthy shipping times at all. A few weeks passed and I get an email saying I am blocked from their site because they did not receive my cash. I emailed them asking why and never got a response. If they ould have taken paypal I would have done it that way, but I don't think they do for U.S. customers. I also have not seen but maybe 3 posts saying they got their beans in a timely fashion. Maybe they didn't take my cash, but there are alot more (other than their own forum) negative posts around than positive about them. Sucks because that black pearl looks like one of the best strains I have seen and I was really looking forward to that!

It does state in the payment instructions

this email. If your payment is not received within 15 business days
our system will automatically block you from making any future

I just got my beans from high grade seeds today. Avalanche. It took a long time for the my payment to get to them, customer service was fine. got 13 seeds instead of 10, descreet package, etc. Was good deal, wont be planting these ones for a few weeks tho.

For all the good reports I've heard about HGS, that's just really messed up.

Yeah it sucks because I have ordered from two other places since and received my beans in a one week period from both. I wouldn't be as bothered if I would have just gotten an email reply saying they didn't receive it.
I do really want to give Kindseed in Canada a try, but no one has been able to supply any info on them, good or bad.
