Hey dunno when u posted this but this is by far the best seed site for the money and safest. i got some big blue, blueberry and north lite#5 going just look at the forum pics dude speaks for itself. i wont go through ne one else.

What cannibus cup have they ever entered?

None- because they have nothing but garbage.

Hell, even Nirvana (supposed cheap seeds) has entered and won cannibus cups.

Stick to proven winners. Sometimes when you go off the beaten path you only get poison ivy.

i think ill order some avalanche from them. and there are allot of seed companies that haven't won cup's. hgs is from Canada and probably doesn't want to bother with flying their product overseas and raising it in Europe for a couple of months when they have a business to run. and after searching the forums I've seen like 2 or 3 people who got screwed (Money lost in the mail) while everyone else said they were great.

Do what you must, but I gotta say... That is the dumbest, most full of bullsh*t, excuse you can possibly come up with.

Sure there are reputable sites that don't enter cups because they aren't breeders. But high-grade not only claims to be a breeder, but he claims to have the biggest, baddest, plants anywhere. He is full of sh*t.

Question: If you are a seed breeder and want to make a name for yourself (as well as lots of $$$) how do you gain rep for yourself and your products?

He has nothing but rebreed F2's and F3's... expect ALOT of variation... IF you get your garbage product.

hey there is a whole lot of negativity going on. if the guy wants to get seeds from there let him what difference does it make to you. you stated your opinion let it go. dude if you get the seeds post again with a detailed journal to let people know if the seed bank works out. these people are running a business. i plan to attempt a seed bank. it wont happen i know this but still new seed banks are what make pot smoking possible. new people new strains new smoke. so let the dude alone and go with it.

Just my $,02 toward High-grade. And if you are a member of other forums, ask about his rep there. he claims to be a breeder, NOT just a seed bank.
Anyone can order seeds from Sensi Seeds or Dutch Passion (or whatever) and breed them to make seeds. Doesn't mean you are a world class breeder.
There are reasons his products are NOT award winners, and the least of which is "they have a business to run." Try the truth- the place is a hack rip-off.

There is truth in the old adage,"you get what you pay for."

My advice to anyone is to buy proven genetics from a proven breeder. You will have less trouble and more success in the long run.

The question was what one thought of high-grade, and I do have a very negative impression of him from various sites and sources (included he, himself)

You must have went through someone else at least once (either a friend or seedbank).
Your gallery shows only lowryder, a strain not sold by Highgrade.

By the way, where is the budshots of the superstrains?

greenhouse seeds is a true breeder. Even if he won't ship to wash., there are numerous seedbanks that carry his stuff.

But noone carries Highgrade.... wierd, huh?

after reading a post that talked about how space cowboy got banned because he owned hgs and posted nothing but "high grade seeds rocks, you have to order through them" i'm ordering from dope-seeds.com. they seem to have a good rep and i can get tons of real breeders seeds. thanks for warning me celticman.

Hiya fellas! Just here to give my (long-winded) 2cents.

It's quite unlike me to "defend" positions via online forums, and yet here I am. I've purchased seeds from 3 different seedbanks, and Highgrade was one of them. Now, you can just call me lucky but all of my seeds arrived in a timely manner from all 3 seedbanks. (I live in the U.S.)

Of the 3 strains I purchased from the 3 different seedbanks, I've grown out and harvested 2 strains to date. The first was White Widow (not from Highgrade,) and the second was Purple Cindy from Highgrade. The harvested WW was excellent, even better than I hoped for and I was quite impressed with the genetic quality. Next was PC. In all honesty I can't say the genetics were any "better" but I can certainly say they were on par with the WW. I had a larger yield with PC (harvested 2 weeks ago.) WW packed a little more punch, but PC was a more unique high and flavor. Where WW was more energetic, PC was more cerebral. My point being... the quality is definitely there.

As a casual home-grower I'm not really out for the "hugest yield" or the "kick-you-in-the-face" kind of high. Ultimately I just want some tasty dank that gets me really high, and (for me) PC from Highgrade really delivered. Not only did I grow some dank smoke, but as a bonus for posting my grow on their forum... I get a free pack of seeds of my choice! I'll take that offer any day of the week.

I'm not a regular here at rollitup but I've trolled around for over a year. I was simply compelled to respond to Celtic's obvious distaste for Highgrade Seeds, because unlike he, I've had such a great experience with them. I hope you don't mind me posting this link... this is my PC GROW SHOW over on another forum I'm more active on. I consider myself a newb to growing but I have a decent understanding of what it takes to grow quality herb.


So here's my Highrade experience in a nutshell.

- $67 (including FedEx shipping to make sure my money arrived) = 13 Purple Cindy seeds shipped to the U.S. (3 freebies, I paid for 10)
- 10 more FREE seeds, my choice of strain = for posting a grow show on their forum.

This was from a 400w DWC cab grow. Planted Feb 24, 2008 and harvested June 5th, 2008. (105 days from seed to harvest) I don't own a scale so I don't know how much it is... but it's gonna last me a long while. It has a sweet skunky smell with a hint of dark chocolate and some kind of earthy spice I can't yet pinpoint. It has a full bodied flavor with a sweet aftertaste, and the high is very strong and cerebral.

Is it Cannabis Cup quality? Probably not... Is it top-shelf quality? I think so... Did I get what I paid for? A resounding Hell Yes... and then some.

There's some proof in my pudding... but it's still just 2cents from a newbie grower, so take it for what it's worth.

I can't help myself after reading celticmans rants about hgs. Something happened for sure that pissed him off and he can't let go...oh well,but for me I have been around these sites for 3 grows and researching good seed sellers Amsterdam marijuana seeds would be what celticman describes about hgs and from first hand knowledge hgs is in another legue from them for sure.I was very pessimistic after dealing with that dutch company but tried hgs.I would rather pay with a credit card but since it's in Canada were it is elegal it is not safe for them so I hestitantly sent the cash.In 10 days I got the seeds.thank heavans there ak-47 and Vintage turned out great and i became very pleased with the end product.I am no kid and I've smoked my share and they have to be comented on there breeding because it was some fine smoke. So I am not a paid stoner here for HGS just a customer of theres' that was and is satified and just hate to see this for sake of a better word Bull....about them imo Showgirl
