Your early enough in flower to use the oldest and most widely used pesticide/fungicide/miticide in the world...........very cheap/organic.........SULFUR

Nicotine spray is VERY effective at killing everything(remove from cigarette obviously before adding water), was used commercially for decades....it has been barred from organic use in the EU.

Wear protection when using either...........very effective. and cheap!

After this round spray your room with Bifenthrin, food grade pesticide that works extremely well and last very long can also be used on plants during veg..(usda corn/hops crop use since 70's)

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ortho-Home-Defense-Max-1-gal-Ready-To-Use-Perimeter-and-Indoor-Insect-Killer-0195210/100599172#.UgAA89LUm8A you will NEVER have a pest issue again if you spray this before your grows. THIS IS NOT PURE befenthrin, has changed formulation and added cooper to the mix, DO NOT SPRAY THIS on your plants.

Safe around pets and humans if directions are followed.........will be effective for six months per application / real cheap.

Here is what I am finding, the better I keep the basic ambient temps + RH under control + use sufficient silica the fewer bug/mold issues I deal with, like none this summer- for the FIRST time

Okay, you all suggested different things, so fuck it, I'm going to try something different too.. Picked up a tiny bottle of Avid. I know, I know, poison, cancer etc. But I didn't want to fuck around. I won't use it next grow though, I'll rotate. Responsible miticide use. I've read that Avid is pretty safe to spray 45 days before harvest, so that puts me at September 11th, right around day 60 flower.

Thanks for all the advice, and I'll definitely refer to it again someday!

Edit: Post-spray once-over shows no mites. I also hosed down the tent a little and will be shop-vaccing the fuck out of it in a bit. I have a few little spills of perlite, and mites love mess..

I use forbid time to time but only in veg if infested bad. Basically same as avid as far as health is concerned. Seriously don't use it now. Any horti-oil or anything other than avid/forbid. Dunk them in 110* water for 10min. It actually works for all stages aon cover the whole surface. And is easily done if you only have a few/smaller plants. Fill up your bath tub and dunk those girls. Shake/blow dry...you are plenty early in flower to do this and not have mold issues. Then spray/bomb your room with something while they are out and being dunked.

Edit:
Never mind, I just saw that you used it already. But hell...we have all smoke worse probably/unfortunately.

Lady in the back left (well, all of them) got a little burned from the apple cidar vinegar spray.. I forgot to rinse her as quick as the others

Running out of Canna A&B and since I'm broke as fuck I just picked up GH Florabloom/micro, we'll see how that goes.

Also attempting to germ my party cup comp seeds. White widow again, as I did eventually get some to germ, just took over a week.

Edit: Finally starting to get a little stanky, got some of that "really sticky bud" smell in with the peppery veg smell. I don't know how to explain the smell other than "sticky".

Probably not that much difference to show in 3 days ('course, I haven't seen 'em for 3 days either). If there is, I'll post tonight, otherwise, Mondays. Thanks for checkin' in though!

Alright yeah there's not much new to show.. Bunch more white hairs is about it.. Except for the spider mites fuckin' everywhere. Worse than it was before, on one plant. It's too late to respray with Avid safely, so I fear this run could get scrapped. So much for Avid having a translaminar component. Or maybe it just hasn't kicked in yet.

Spray H2O2 from drug store- cheap and extremely effective

You might add more silica, bugs don't like the taste, + it makes the stems/stalks tougher

Thanks for stopping in! I hope so too.. I read somewhere that Avid takes up to 30 days to get the job done because it takes effect with the 3rd generation of mites. Hopefully this is the case and my mites aren't already Avid-resistant :/

They're sure looking frosty though. Pics in a while.

Fucking mites + potential discovery by geotechnical engineer = end of grow. Trashed it. Been recovering from the trauma :P. My landlords don't want me growing any more, but that just means I have to go stealth mode.

Oh... and why, isn't that just convenient. Fits like a glove!
