you could try tieing it down almost in half verticly but make sure to go slow and not break the stem, if it bends thats fine just so long as it doesn't snap and that will make everything from the bend down to grow faster and catch up. and keep the top from going wild.

How far along are your plants ? When I know that space (heighth) is going to be an issue, I start pinching every fourth node as it grows. This will send to branches out from each pinch (of the growing spurt on top). If you do this every fourth node (branch) as it grows, you'll have a nice bush. Growing outside, that translates to more buds. Inside, it depends on the conditions (nutes, light, etc...).

Question

My plants are in the first week of 12/12 and are growing 1-1/2 to 2 " a day! I still have plenty of height in the room but at this rate I will run out before harvest. I have started to bend already in anticipation of this but still fear that I am going to run out of height. Can I cut the light back to 10/14 to slow growth or will this affect budding?

they are drooping after when you tie the plant?!? same problem bro! i've been told that this is stress from bending down and it should perk up.

i agree with the doctor.i was thinking that floopers tree is alot more big than that.i was thinking it's a monster and can't be handeled in the box.and it's too early(my opinion) to turn to 12/12. peace all!!! Cheetah
