Were only at that 35% cuz we have been getting snow. With curing being one of the few exceptions I love the low RH where I live. I used to be in the midwest and its just sticky. Hate that whenever I go back.

I would dry it in my box that way I would have more control over RH, but as soon as the fruit is done I'm doing my chronic so will have to get that humidifier..I think you can get one for under $20

Yup its only one plant, it's dinafem fruit automatic, the breeder says 60-65 tops, but I'm on day 61 and she's still putting out white pistils. Didn't try her yet, but she smells very grapefruit like mixed in with some stinky skunk, because she smells bad!! Odour control is a must with this auto.

I suck @ the dry/cure process. I always (at least both times I've done it) put them in the jars too wet.

Ill check that out hope I can find one for small spaces. Actually I could prob just have it at the right spot in the room to include the cab or do tubing/ partial connection to the cab.

I got a little 20 dollar ball humidifier gonna try it out after I get some di (distilled water not de-ionized) water. Our water is rather hard and I dont wanna deal with a bunch of solutes post evap.

I am going to be leaving town tomorrow and I am part way through drying my harvest. Its been drying for four days so far and the stems are still easily bendable and the buds are still wet. They are no where near going to jars. So as I said I am going to be leaving for several days so right now I am planning to just leave the buds drying. This is less than ideal and unfortunately I do not have a friend around to act as (a good) plant sitter. So does anyone have any suggestions for limiting damage/ degradation? Anything I can do or will I be relying on hope n happy thoughts?
Acid, matt, bumps, low: anything got ideas floating around?

Dan, it depends on how long you're going to be gone. I left my drying harvest for about 4 days but it was at the beginning of the drying process, and when I came back my plant was ready to go into the jars. Dan shit sorry I can't help you you might be fine as long as you keep your RH under control, so make a good use of that humidifier you got :) that's all I got.

you can also look into water curing. you use RO water to draw out the chlorophy. just do a google search and you should be able to find something.

other than that what Acid said i think is a solid idea, get that humidity up and temps down so they dont over dry on you while your away.

Dan, I'm kinda on the same boat as you are, I'll be chopping the fruit tomorrow, because I'm leaving with the family for christmas and I'll be back on wed or thur. and I know my plant's wont go that long with out water, so I'll have to chop her right before I leave for the holidays, and before I leave I want to plant that chronic so by the time I come back I'll have some action going on in them pots lol.

Matt, I was thinking about that but I don't think that would cut it, she drinks about a gallon sometimes more every two days, if she doesn't get it within hrs. she starts to wilt like girl on a pole lol. I feel bad that I have to cut her down, but on the other hand I'm also happy that I can start some real plants ;)

Thanks you guys for the replies :blsmoke:. Once I realized that my thermo/hydrometer only does RH of the "inside" unit I stuck it in the dry cab and every time I've checked its been 40-50% and sits right around 60f. The branch that was cut off (rest of plants are intact) is still springy and wet after being in there 5 days now so it may just be about right when I get back in 6 or 7 days.

I got a small soft ball sized humidifier and it only lasts a few hours before needing to be refilled so it is not an option while I'm gone. But I am going to refill the water dish in the bottom of the cab; it seems to be helping. But I'm def gonna use the humidifier when I'm back to bump the RH to 60% for the cure.

Acid I just put a bean in the dirt too. Went in last night (after 1 day paper towel germ, did not pop) and so I'm hoping to see a lil cbd widow when I get back.
