In my browser ready to purchase, it will be going into a 2.5x2.5 tent and at 3000k. Just curious what people think would be a good amount plants for that light kit in my small tent. 3-5 or cram it full as i can? I have 8 under a 150w cob fixture (4 4k 1 center 1750k) about 3 weeks into flowering and they are looking pretty good so far but less and bigger/bushy might be better in terms of overall yield. What do you think?

I am batteling a similar issue myself. Running 260w QBs in a 2.8 x 2.8 feet tent. Currently have 2 big ones inside but I could see myself doing 3, but for me my two are filling up the space faster than I can defoliate :D

I do 4 in each half of my 8x4. I have done 16 in a 4x4 before. Its all relative. Veg time vs plant count. Don't worry about it too much, you will soon find what suits your situation best.
Personally if I wasn't bothered about plant count I would do more and veg less, even bottom buds can be solid with Quantum Boards.

Right on, good points. Another factor for me is if I decide to use my cob fixture as a veg light and go perpetual or use it along side the QBs in flower (might be a little overkill for a 2.5x2.5)

Just make sure you use the dimmer on the QBs at the start.
I like 4 plants in 80cm x 80cm - 32 inches x 32 inches.
200 watts of 4 x cxb cobs in there.
Good luck with your grow :D
