HLG 600R vs 650R and HYDROX Compatibility

My local shop carries 600 and 650's with a good deal this month on 600's. I am looking to grow on 4 x 8 tables, with 2 600's, the 650's being 35% or so more, how big is the yield gap?

Next, I think I found a thread on here, but is anyone running hydro x controllers on hlg lights. Specifically either of these models, as per the "dimmer to zero or separate switch for each individual light."

Spider farmer has that convenient phone wire jack, but my local guy swears by the HLG.

Trolamsters 3.5mm to RJ12 adapters is easy. Just uses the dimming wires on the drivers. Either meanwell or inventronics drivers usually for HLG products, but doesn't make a difference for this adapter.

Pretty sure you also need the lma-14 adapter between the controller and that rj12 adapter.
