hlg qb18 v2 suppliment thoughts?

What are you guys/gals thoughts on this board?

for those of us running diy strip builds that only have mono type white strips, worth the investment? Any one have experience running these?

if its liken to the HLG 60 SUPPLEMENT then it will be running Osram leds.

Yes, i run the HLG 60's as well as their UVA bars. Both are great Imo.
Also have x4 QB-3's for IR but no damn driver to run them so idk about them yet but do know i need them.
The only draw-back to the 60's is attempting uniformity.
If not purchasing the needed or desired nm's/wavelengths all in one fixture, layed out to blend, then unfortunately you're stuck with Supplementation.
With that said several QB-18's (mini version) may be better for you to achieve uniformity.

You mention mono white only LED strips. So are you asking how people like this strips FOR supplementation?

For supplemental lighting or any thoughts they may have on this board. Maybe it’s outdated. Maybe there are better offerings. Maybe they added these to no effect. Maybe they’re the cats ass and are a must. Just looking for thoughts on them.

I guess you would have to make a solid decision as to what it is Exactly you want to supplement before any of us can answer you.
If A primary fixture is to bennifit from being supplemented, then one would need to know what that Primary fixture is to answer you as each one will benifitt more from a specific supplementation then another, being each has a different spectrum to start with.
