soo obviously everyone knows that you should only put in one seed per pot....well im wondering, whats the worst that can happen if say you put in 3? Could they all actully survive and bud nicely? or just get the roots all tangled up and die?

also, someone was telling me if you smoke dope around your plants they will turn male? Ive never heard that, but who knows?

Roots get tangled, transplanting more difficult, need much bigger pots to allow for more room for roots and plants to grow, etc. Just doesn't make sense when pots are so cheap.

Smoking near plants is generally considered bad because the smoke and all that nasty stuff can clog the pores on the plants which is bad.

When those young roots tangle you will probably end up doing damage trying unsucessfully to untangle them. One pot per plant.

Smoking around your plants will not turn them male. It will like buddha said possible clog stuff up. Not good to smoke around children not good to smoke around your plants.

another reason why more than one plant per pot is males tend to be larger than females so that the pollen can fall on the female flowers. the males will steal all the light from the females and it will become a sausage fest up in there.

Out of sheer laziness, a few times, over the years, I have started more than one seedling per container....As soon as the males show, I cut them off at base of stem....The remaining females were grown to maturity, no problems besides the reduced yield, (as one plant in same size container would yield more than two competing plants in one container). I did this in 4 to 5 gallon containers outdoors. I have done it a few times indoors, but ended up with only one girl per container!
Needless to say I have not done this in a few seasons.

do males typically grow faster in non -container sharing applications? Becaue i have a few that are monsters and a few that are a little more "dainty". started all in aerogarden and just transplanted to eight pot hydro system with t5 light. roots were a pain in the ass to get untangled from within aerogarden. no K.I.A.'s yet ....
