hmmmm...little lighting question

first I want to say thank you to all the folks who post, it's done me wonders! sadly I have started growing and I know that I do not have enough light. and I was wondering how important this is to keep a plant ALIVE. not to have it flourish and become the most amazing plant ever but I just need to be able to keep my babies stable while I find the income to get better lamps. *side note* please do not answer with: "you just need more light fool!" or better "you cannot grow without enough light". Negativity is never the answer friends. would love some positive feedback

ok i am growing with 2 energy saving lightbulbs i will do this for few weeks they are like 1 dollar each and you can have as many of them as you want, the more light the better for photosynthesis of the plant, helping your plants grow. so it is important to have as much light as possible but they will survive with minimal light they prob just wont grow as tall or bushy. hope this helps

the garden needs a minimum of 1000 lumens to be alive and healthy. the more lumens, the better. buy cfl bulbs. their cheap and easy to get. good luck....
