Ho Ho H...ooops!!! Christmas Bong Mishap.

Soooo, got home from visiting the family around midnight. Did some late night gardening, had to water the girls and do a little cleanup. Figured I get a buzz on and spend some quality time with them before crashing.


Had my new little palm size bong cookin' up some bud from the last grow. Buzz was just coming on nicely. Blew a few hits out at my ladies...sat there admiring their growth, contemplating what the next harvest is gong to produce.


Went to take a hit - and the bong caught the bottom of the wire shelf my plants sit on,

topled out of my hand,
and shattered as it hit the bottom shelf.

Bongwater and shards of very thin glass all over the bottom of the grow area.


Duh!

My first glass bong ever... bought it a month ago (been smoking out of a wood tobacco pipe for years and there's no comparison. The bong was much cooler and smoother to smoke from.)

Damnit!!! I kinda figured this would happen at some point, though not so soon.
Gonna have to wait till a till Wednesday to get a new one.

Maybe Santa will bring me a new bong??? Probably not... oh well, back to the woody.

haha, happens to everybody sooner or later. my buddies dog broke 2 bongs (both 100$+) and a pipe within 2 hours of it all. i was so shocked as they all broke beyond repair and i had given my buddy a bong the day before as a gift and now im out 3 bongs and a pipe, all i got left is my gandalf pipe which took 4 months to handcraft so if it breaks ill have a nervous breakdown.

We have all been there and done that man.

I think I will buy some of that liquid rubber in a can stuff and just coat the outside of my bongs so if I drop them.. they bounce..


I wonder if anyone still has their 1st bong?

I still have my first bong.... It's acrylic. Good thing too, because I'm sure it would have broken at least 10 times by now lol.

I have my 1st mid size bong still.. I had a smaller bubbler that I really enjoyed till the cement and her met.

I don't have it but I know where it is. Four foot all black tube we called black death, I got it for my 18th birthday from a couple of friends. We had one of those old T.V. cabinets cleaned out, the old type with the folding doors on it and we made holders for all our smoking devices. My buddy still has it in his man room to this day, gas masks and all to an homage of our youth.

traded a giant ass nug for a pipe. same night sitting down i had it on the right of my seat cushion by my leg, slumped forward and as i did it feel from my right side of the chair to the ground.

My first bong was acrylic, and I killed it horribly. I tried washing it with alcohol.

I must say though that the idea of trying to keep it through the earlier years of my marriage to a somewhat straitlaced woman ... makes me grin. cn

In college, I had a nice dragon bong. By the time I left college, that bong was more epoxy than anything else.

Wow... I found a picture of that style bong in just one quick Google search! And that was back from the early eighties!

hmmm, Cool looking bong.

I built a glass jar bong a while back but didn't get it to seal right back then...it drew like shit.
However, I decided to revive it, and it dawned on me that I could put a piece of masking tape arount the top of the jar and the lid, that would seal it right up.

It did.

It'll get me through till I get an new bong.

every piece has a life, the timer starts when you buy it and you never know when it will end so just enjoy them as much as possible
