Hey everyone, I'm new to growing and start seeding my seeds...I was wounding if it was safe to use Hoffman's purely organic potting soil , that I purchase local garden store, plant these suckers in? Thanks
Honestly I've found Drainage to be the most important factor in a soil, be sure to avoid time release chemical fertilizer (and soils premixed with them) these can burn your plants, essentially you can work with most soils ive found mixing an aeration substance like perlite or even coco
Sounds good. I use Fox Farms and add perlite and ewc at 20 and 10%. Never had a burn. Kelloggs and Black Gold are good organics. Do not know about the one you mentioned but most are ok.
