Hoky Shit...

Both my big plants, amazing looking, great buds, ALL SEEDS NOW?!?! I am on a 10 week plan at week 6 huge swollen calyx's were normal I thought. Checked them, all full of tiny seeds.

All those, little seeds everywhere. Saw a few today actually forming on the exterior bud.

HOW THE FUCK DID THIS HAPPEN?!??!! No males even INTO the 12/12. The buds are insanely dense so will still be good, but how the seeds??? NO male signs. I am pissed.

Had to be some male pollen around that you missed..

That sucks mildly but it could be a lot worse. At least you'll have some good viable seeds for the future.

Not gonna risk the seeds going hermie. These came from solid stock, no CLUE where the hermie showed up. They have never shown anything, WEIRD!

None... I never got a male plant into 12/12 all were killed showing pre-flower in veg. I just don't get it. I wish my seeds from the doc would hurry up and get here, I am not risking another crop of these, something is up. I have 6 solid clones that are all pre flowered female still in veg... I hope they don't go hermie as well.

You can get hermies(females with some male balls) that only have a branch or two with male balls on it and just that alone can do it. It doesn't take much.

Its not a total loss.

This is just weird, it seems both plants suffered this fate. Blown away, I REALLY hope those purple widow seeds show up or I am screwed, I have some cash into this setup, the weed smokes great however, so I should be able to get something. These seeds came from an amazing bud that had some seeds in it. Is there a chance they were hermie, and these seeds are all hermie? I just don't get it, I spent probably an hour a day down there looking at those things NEVER did I find the male flowers, sad sad sad.

If you're worried about covering overhead expenses, just sell it slightly reduced, and keep the lion's share for yourself. That is STILL amazing bud; it's just not going to get as large as it could have since it's been pollenated. Bag appeal counts for a lot, but people are ultimately more interested in how well it fries them.

My condolences. There must have been some male traits somewhere that you missed. Pollen floating around in your general area isn't going to do that kind of damage if it's indoors. And yes, that seeded bud was probably from a hermaphrodite; however, not all of the seeds are going to be hermies. There will be an ample amount of female seeds that show no hermaphroditic traits if it's so female-dominant that you missed any signs. Yes, it will be a hassle identifying the plants though, if you plan to grow out some of the seeds. Either way, all is not lost.

Maybe I'm just too old, but we used to have seeds in our pot and we just picked them out.....isn't it still smokable? Now you have tons of seeds and if they did hermie or you just missed a male, it doesn't mean that they will all be males correct?

Damn....but you may have missed/Sexing plants can be tough.
