Holding in Smoke

This is very debatable, from the knowledge that I have.

My understanding is that many people mistake the light-headed, lack of oxygen feeling as a 'rush' from the toke, in turn thinking they are getting higher.

On the other side of things, basic intuitiveness tells us that if you increase the time we give our lungs to absorb the air, then the more chemicals we will absorb.

I know neither of those to be fact though, so I too am curious to see where this goes.

Yes ,and i used to smoke with someone who would come up frombehind and cover my mouth(with force) and nose just before i was about to exhale. it still gets a laugh when it happens to someone else.

I've been doing a bit of google "research" on the subject over the past few minutes and most of what I'm finding says that 95% of the THC is absorbed within 5 to 7 seconds, and 1% every additional second after that.

if 95% is absorbed in the first 5-7 sec why hold it in for twice as long for 5% fuck people you grow your own just take another hit lol

I think it seems less thick because all of the tar in the smoke is also being absorbed.
