Is it ok to leave nutes mixed that long? I've not tried that yet. I was always wanting premade jugs, but I was advised against it.
In a standalone reservoir that's not recirculating back from the plants a nutrient solution from highly soluble salts can last a long time as long as it's circulated. I always just mix up a new batch and just add it to the old. I never check the reservoir I just pH what I put in. I use a small pond pump that points up so the surface is always moving and oxygenating. Much better than using air stones as more surface replacement is happening rather than just some small bubbles. There's a term for it but I can't remember.

I wouldn't run a reservoir the way I do if there were any organics in it. But I've never had any issues with just salts. The only time I fiddle around with pH and EC is when I'm getting something figured out for the first time.

For instance, I just started a coco run. I haven't done that for a while. I'm not using what I usually use but MaxiBloom. I've mixed that up enough times to know how much to add to hit my EC target. I also know how much pH down to use to hit my pH target. After mixing multiple batches of nutrient solution the amounts haven't changed. I rarely take measurements because I have the ratios down. When I do they're always in the same target results I want. It's chemistry.

Yea, I run Lucas in dwc. I use oral syringes to measure nutes going into solution. I know what the ec & pH are going to be after mixing them up, so I just add the same amount of ph up every time. When I put into the res, the meter always reads the same. It becomes habit that eventually you can almost do with your eyes closed.

What about keeping jugs of premade solution? Do they stay stable, and for how long?
