That's a lot of snow. We must have at least 14-16 inches of new snow. I ran the snowblower about 11 am Sunday. There was about 6 inches then and I figured the worst was over. I was wrong. It just kept coming. I'll get outside about 9 to clean again before it gets really cold. Currently 14 degrees.

We got over a foot last night alone here.
My fence in the yard is pretty much gone - buried.
I got bigger problems though - bird flue?
My feathers are all ruffled and my quills hurt and my gizzard is sore.
Welcome to Winter Wonderland folks...

I feel like I used up some karma today having to drive around town without mishap. Neighbor has a nice tractor, I think he half the day clearing the snow on the sidewalks and he also does the driveways for the older folks.

I normally clear the snow from my property and the elderly neighbors I have on each side of me.

my snowblower took a crap. My karma must also be paying me back because I haven't had to shovel once. One of my other neighbors in the hood must be clearing my entire property. Sidewalks, driveway and walkway... Need to find out who and give them a gas card

Anybody remember the blizzard of 1978. This is nothing compared to 1978 which also happened 35 yrs ago to the day. We had 2ft of snow and colder temps than we have now. Ah, the good ole days.

lol, I have referred this storm to 70's snow. We had big tanks for cars back then that could go through a foot of snow no probblem. My '76 LTD never got stuck. When the snow was too deep I just backed up and found a new way.
