This is just for veg I have a 1900 watt room for flower. This is a 2x4 box, I need a cooler light for the box tho. Atleast for now

This light is fine for vegging. I have even used the old t8's and t12's. IMO there is no reason to buy special "grow lights" for vegging. T5's or cfls work fine.
Do you know anything about whether or not it's compatable with those hortilux t5 they have blue ones that work good in veg, thanks for your input

The HO's draw 54 watts, otherwise it will be 50 or less. You could measure it with a meter, or maybe the wattage is printed on the bulb

It uses 54 watt bulbs.. Does that mean it's high output?

Those blue horties are made to supplement in veg. I'm running 2 of those out of ten total t-5's right now, and wouldn't recommend any more than that. I'm getting tons of trichs way early in veg. It's weird. I like them though. Even more so as a finishing bulb.

cool thanks man, so I guess I'll grab a couple normal bulbs at Home Depot and then order one of those blue ones and see how I like it. This might be temporary, but if it works well I'll just leave it
