Homegrown bud vs. Street bud

All the street bud i smoked in the last year was called "Kush", I guess it is the cool thing to call bud now.

I just grew my first harvest and it was pretty good, not the best, but good for a first run. My second run is looking amazing though, got better lights, venting system, nutes, seeds. It isnt hard either, I only grow 3 plants at a time and it is more than enough for myself and my wife. The rest I usually give to friends.

If your paying $400 for compressed "Brickweed", I need to move to your town. I'll be REALLY popular!!

The difference between most brick weed and well grown, well cured Kind Bud is like the difference between cheap assed beer and Heineken. Boones Farm and Chateau Lafitte-Rothschild. Once you smoke the good stuff, you'll be ruint on anything else.

Ever put a good sound system in a new car? Could you go back to the factory sound system?

i lived in south texas for a few years corpus Christy. the worst bud on the planet always brown full of seeds and the cartels would beat the ytrics b4 sending it cross the border. worst time in my pot smoking career.

I live in Alberta; most know some of the best weed is grown in B.C. which is right next door. There's ample great bud around this area, and the price is $200 per oz no matter how great it is.

That said, there's nothing as satisfying as using your own product that you've put your time and effort into.

After growing myself for the first time and doing a lot of experimenting, I've found out about the different highs you get from different levels of maturity. I've realized that most street bud has so much more of a "stoney, downer" type of high to it. My homegrown has the "feel good, enjoyable" high- a big difference. I harvested plants at different stages of maturity and grew a variety- pure Indica, sat. Dom. Hybrids, Indica Dom. Hybrids, and have felt the different highs. This really educated me about what high I prefer. Every plant I grew had a more pleasing high than most anything I've purchased on the street or at the despensaries. Also I used to think that the despensaries (in CA) had the best buds, well now I know that's far from the truth. I'm convinced that if you get good genectics and properly grow your plants you will most likely get better bud than you could find anywhere else. Growing my own has opened up my eyes in so many ways. If you've never been able to do it definitely put it on your bucket list and get to it as soon as possible. It's a game changer.

Not in MY neck of the woods. Unless you know a grower personally, Kind Bud is as scarce as hens teeth. And expect to pay $600 or more for an O of good quality. There is a whole lot of Mex Brick avail, harsh as hell, tastes like bong water, barely gives you a buzz and is just pure crap.

All of the more quality homegrown I have smoked is much better then alot of commerca drug dealer weed. I prefer home grown of course and it kills the game. A oz is like 3-350 depends on the weed man. But personally I love going to the street dealers that say check this kush or purple out. And then there buying ur shit for 350 an o

heres some street bud that was going around in the UK for a good 6 months in about 2008,there was tons of the stuff sprayed with some sort of substance everybody called it sand blasted even tho i dont think it was sand,similar tho,the ash was rock solid it would not drop of whatsoever it would be on the joint till the last puff

oddly enough, i just rolled up the last of some bud my kids got me while i was growing my first crop. after smoking my home grown for several months, all i can say is what a difference. the stuff they got me was supposed to be grandaddy purple. it was harsh and i had 3 big hits off the joint and got nothing. i then took a single hit off my mixture of greenhouse thai and og kush 18 and was flying. homegrown is way, way better than commercial. i have not tried dispensary smoke though so that may be good as well but i grew my first crop for about $5 a gram. now i will be under $1 a gram from here on out as i have all the hardware needed. just electric, water, nutes and soil. maybe seeds too but i still have a few grows worth from my initial purchase.
