No such thing as stupid questions, only learning opportunities. This Is probably a stupid question..
Ethonol, is it the same thing as the Ethonol gasoline from the gas stations?
Ethanol is alcohol. The ethanol in gasoline is an additive produced from corn, subsidized by the government. Not to get political, but the same farmers bitching about the trade war with China (soy farmers, primarily) also benefit from such billion dollar subsidizes. So when you hear corn and soy farmers bitching about trade, remember to keep in mind that they've sucked in billions of taxpayer funds in exchange for their political support!
Everclear is the closest over the counter thing you can get to pure, unadulterated ethanol as far as I know. Many states don't sell 190 proof Everclear, most of New England you're shit out of luck.
