Homer's 2nd Cfl Grow: Amnesia Haze x G13 and Blue Cream (Pics and +Reps)

That is exactly what i do. it works really well for me plus everyone is telling me how great my stuff taste.

Homerville, just north of MetaLand in the great state of Cannibufornia...I think a few days flush is probably fine, and I'm still up in the air about the dark period, but it can't hurt, right? I'm at work right now, and I just got a call from home, apparently this storm has flooded me out of my neighborhood! Haha, I hope my outdoor seedling is doing ok!

yes, from what i'm gathering, the 2-week flush is something that is widely believed and propagated but not necessarily good. kind of like the "amber trichs = couch lock" myth, which i now fully reject. i wish i could inspect trichs better while the bud is still on the plant. the 60x scope is too unstable, and the 15x-triple-lens dealio doesn't get me quite close enough to confidently distinguish clear from cloudy... i'm gonna have to get creative. but what i'm going for is "mostly cloudy".

When it comes to flushing, I don't see anything wrong with it. But, Sensi Seeds published a report stating that there wasn't any noticeable difference between flushed and unflushed buds, so I would just do whatever feels right to you. Personally, I've tasted flushed and unflushed buds from the same mother plant and couldn't tell the difference at all.

bro, you seen the 4 oz's i harvested, i gave them FF trio and chaching nutes right up to the day before i chopped and i'll do the same with grassy. IMO and like rasta said, there is no reason to flush for 2 weeks and deprive the plant of what it needs to keep producing the final product. using good nutes that allow that which most do nowadays.

hey bro, thanks man, blue cream is looking closer and closer each day. i checked out your new fan situation, pretty impressive. i'll have to take notes from you for when i build my next box (like you, as soon as this grow is over, i'm gonna start "working" on my next box, although i'll proabably take a couple month break from actually growing...)

thanks dk, that sounds like what i've read as well. all the evidence is starting to point to "it doesn't matter", which to me means "don't flush" -- that way i don't sacrifice yield for the myth of a cleaner smoke!

for sure man, based on your grow and stoneyluv's perpetual, i'm definitely leaning the way of no flush (except for the final watering maybe). i'm using flora nova as my bloom nutes now, i'll have to check the label to see if they recommend flushing or not, but either way i probably won't do it lol. take it easy bro, i'll check the details your new fan setup when i have the brain power to keep all that shit in mind haha. peace

I finally made it back to my neighborhood at 1AM, had to park my car almost a mile away and walk it. I just fed Lefty last night with full strength bloom nutes, she's 7 weeks in, today...I dunno, I dig the idea of a short flush too since I'm thinking she only needs 10 more days or so. I didn't really flush Laverne or Shirley at all, and they smoked just fine, and I guess I could try to smoke a big of Righty when she's dry, no flush there either. I'l stay on top of that, just remind me in a few days when she's smokeable.

I will tell you that when I harvested Babygirl, I had fed her within one week of chopping her. I was using the MIR technique and the weed she produced keeps getting better and smokes/vapes just fine. She was literally weeping from her wounds as I was harvesting her. I went with my gut and the knowledge of what I had read...made a decision and I have no regrets..lol. Keep doing what you are doing man...so far your a rockstar!

man that flooding sounds crazy bro, glad you made it back ok and lefty survived the ordeal. looks like short flush is the way to go, so now i gotta start counting days too! damn, i think blue cream has only 12-15 days to go, i might have to snip a little piece of bud just so i can look at it under the scope and count trichs. and then smoke it, of course

man, yesterday was a scare with RIU down for, what was it, 8 hours? i thought it might be down for good! that would suck!!! anyway, i'm glad this thing is up and running, would hate to miss out on everyone's grow and comments and pics and whatnot. got a busy day but will try to upload some pics tonight of the ladies. they are still looking good and frosty, and i got some nice closeups!! peace everyone.

sorta off supjbect... i flushed for two weeks and didnt notice any chemmy taste at all... personal method though... to each his own... thats def one thing i learned on this site... its like writin your name... everyone knows the alphabet,` but none of us write it the same... same with growing... i think...

yeah you will notice some flush religiously and some don't I guess its all personal preference.

So true micro...very well said. I love that..so many different styles yet one goal..killer dankity dankster weed. I plan on bringing BG 2.0 in the same way homer. Minus the extensive LST. It seems that when you reveg, you get to take advantage of all the work that you did previous.

well monk0, whatever i decide, i will do it religiously. and never look back. haha, nah but i hear ya bro. i probably will only flush once about 5 days before harvest (2 days on 12/12 and 3 days with lights off). i'll get to test my method on blue cream before queen amnesia's turn. ah, finally came up with a name for her. queen amnesia. too bad she's already middle aged.
