If you read enough about any substance you can frighten yourself. AFAIK hexane is only dangerous in high concentrations. Between various household products and gasoline, you are routinely exposed to hexane probably at levels higher than the honey oil would contain. Hexane is water soluble and volatile which means that it wont stay in your body for long and it can be eliminated from the hash oil by evaporation. You are already ingesting hexane daily and I doubt the tiny residue in the oil will make any difference.
For just about any chemical, there is someone with Phd out there telling people it's evil. The solid consensus in the health and environmental fields seems to be that hexane in low concentrations is not an issue.
