I use the same most of the same gear as I started with. I have grown hundreds of plants the same way. Quality keeps going up.

None of the crap discussed here has much to do with plant potential. That comes from healthy veg and flowering and the patience to keep them going until they are truly done. That’s where the real potency and complexity comes from in my opinion.

I still sleep better knowing Im bottleneck free, when I find one it disturbs me until I fix it.

But I agree, the difference with these new hoods will probably be negligible.

Same with the light movers.

However it all adds up.

But I also used the same lights for 6 years. It was time. Lol

I need to replace lighting too. 4 years on the reflectors and ballasts. Still no loss of yield as long as I replace bulbs every 10 months.

But they should become backups for sure.
