hooking up pc fans

i made a stealth pc grow box with 2 pc fans and a 120mm fan from walmart..the fans can be connected to 9 volt batteries..i taped 9 volts together for the 12 v fans..just thought someone else could use this info..easy stuff

Yah the 9 volts only lasted a few hours..I tried using a cellphone charger maybe idid it wrong? There's 2 wires for my fans..black and red..I tied all 3 together..wrong?

You only need 2....just make sure you connect the right ones...shouldn't take long. Trial and error, easiest way to figure it out.

If you have an old pc for parts, just use the power supply to run all the fans. You can also get a cheap 12v power supply from radio shack. A 3.5 amp suplly should run all of them and then some.
