Horrible Site To Order From!!

Hi, I am here to inform all growers who do any form of shopping online for supplies about a website that has far from unsatisfactory customer service.

This site is a joke. I made an order on March 5, and just recieved a dispatch confirmation for it. A month for them to ship it out, over a month to recieve it. Despite many emails, they refused to acknowledge me and my situation, and I gave them multiple oppurtunities to rectify the situation. After hearing not a word from the company I informed them I would stop by EVERY BBS and forum I have access to and warn all members of the ridiculousness that is this company.

They didnt hesitate to take my money the second I placed the order, and then yet still didnt even respond to say they were "out of stock" or "running behind", which would have made this situation slightly better. All I asked for was free shipping on my next order and I wouldnt do anything in retaliation. Apparantly they do not care once they get their money, so here goes.

If you want to recieve your items in a timely manner, do not go to this site.

What I ask of you fellow growers, is support my cause and do not order here. If anyone wants even, I will send copies of the emails proving dates, and lack of responses. Thanks!

Now that is bogus, there are plenty of legit sites out there that are more than satisfactory with their supplies and customer service. I have other trusted sites, just put this here to warn people of the lack of service...

One question.

Did you ever pick up the telephone & call them in person ?

Well I have made two orders through this company, one for a DWC setup to see what actually is entailed and to get some ideas for a homebuilt hydro setup, and that took a while, I called they said "we are out of stock and will ship as soon as we get it in". that order took almost 3 weeks in itself, That was my second verification from them, they sent an email first.

The second time I just emailed, seeing as I got a response emailing them the first time. No response, and I didnt show any harsh feelings in the FIRST email I sent. Regardless of if I call or not though, it is their obligation to at least inform me that they are out of stock or are very busy to at least WARN the customer of the wait to come...

Good lookin' out. They have the friggin' flashiest ads up on google for their sh@t. Alot of people probably use them, just for thier market placement. I used htgsupply for my lights. I'm currently placing an order for most of my nutes and stuff from 77hydro, their both nearby.
I ordered 4 light sets from htgsupply, and a few accessories. Three of the lights were Tek lights. And the fouths was their home standard 400watt hps system with the cooltube and standard ballast. I don't know if it was because I placed a large order, or if they were out of their economy ballast. But, they upgraded my ballast to the "AgroStar", for free. And the AgroStar is $49 more, if you would have added it as an upgrade. Htgsupply also sent my stuff in 5 days.
They may not have all of the best prices. But they are reliable, fast, and do really good business. That's what I've experienced from them.
Also ordered some Botanicare stuff from this place in Minnesota, I think their called Ecosupply or something. They had a few different things marked down $10-$20 cheaper than most. They were quick, diligent with the confirms, and the price was still cheaper with the shipping.
The only place to give me a problem thus far is an industrial supplier for my wholesale totes. Go figure.

Firstly, they dont sell seeds, they are a Michigan based company.

Secondly, if you are ordering seeds in the states, even if it takes a year, be happy that you get them . Personally, the only site I myself have ordered from for seeds was Marijuana Seeds - Highest Quality Marijuana Seeds Online, which had awesome service, and VERY fast shipping. I sent cash and two days after I got the receipt email for the cash, I had my seeds. I am now growing white russian and blue rhino.

For namebrand genetics, I have a friend in CA who has seeded out about 50 strains and hooks me up for free. Guess im a fortunate one

i went through the same shit with sh hydro,acept it took 3 mo.and i did call several times....when i finally got my order i was looking at my new light only to find out that my 50k light was acually a 64k with adiffernt sticker.......sh hydro sucks

Hi gro guys and gals.

I apologize if this isnt the thread for this,but i see that there are some knowlegable peeps in here. anyways. I bought a 400w ballast kit with the bat wings reflector. It comes with a metal halid lamp. and on the ballast its labeled as a metal halid ballast. Im confused..can I use a high pressure sodium in the ballast that I have.. I was assuming that I could. If someone can respond, it would be very appreciated thankyou and Godbless,

I had the same exact problem with StealthHydroponics. I placed my order for a dwc kit and 4 CFLs, on JANUARY 10th!!!

After 3 weeks and no update on where my system was, I sent an email and was told that they would ship out within a week (February 5th)

Another 10 days later, and no ups tracker, i email them again and they tell me they are still very backordered.

I waited another 10 days after that (Feb 25th) and sent another email. This time there was no reply, and when I tried to call their customer support they seemed to have just stopped answering.

By mid-March I thought i had been ripped off, so it was a big suprise when I finally got the package on April 1st.

Now riddle me this, how hard is it to go to an aquarium store to buy a bubble disk, air pump and water pump, take a punch and cut 6 holes out of a tupperware lid, and drop 6 netpots and cut up a couple irrigation tubes.

Certainly not something that would take 12 weeks.

Do yourself a favor fellow newbies, don't make the mistake I did, because you can make this kit yourself cheaper, and maybe even get a full grow cycle in before these bastards deliver.

Oh and to add insult to injury they shipped one of the CFLs broken, luckily their customer support was very quick to remedy this problem and they shipped it out the next day.

yah no shit! you probably got everthing you need in your house right now.

lol i know i do, i have aquariums... anyone with an aquarium prolly has all the stuff to make it.
