Hello,
I'm looking for more end user information / guidance in regard to the HLG 350R
Below , a copy & paste off HLGs' website.
TOP FEATURES
SPECIFICATIONS
So , we run dual 600w air-cooled hoods. Eye or Ushio 600w HPS.
We normally have the pair covering a 6' 6 " x 3' 6" space very nicely, the space touches 3 walls painted flat white. Normally run 6 to 10 squat girls , lots of training. This flower area is within a 8' x 10' room within a room. Very good air movement and exchange. Room on average runs on the dry and cooler side the majority of the year. 45-55 rh / 68-74° f
So now , we would like to bench the 600w hps and try a single HLG 350R to cover a 3' x 3' table.
( Coco dtw ) 2 - 4 plants.
The PPFD chart on the HLG website shows a square map HLG claims the 350R covers a 3' x 5' area the independent chart they provide is a 4x4 square?? I've read quite a few posts that explain this LED is perfect in a 2' x 4' tent which is a rectangle.
I want to cover a 3'x3' area adjacent to two walls with a portable wall flanking the third side leaving one side open for fans. ( NO TENT ! ) 3 WALLS COVERED IN FLAT WHITE IN A OPEN ROOM.
My area 3x3 fits inside their advertised 3x5 @ 15" Flowering. ( replaces a 600w)
This lite will be used exclusively for flowering. We use t5's in a 4x4 for mammas and clones.
Can anyone with experience with the 350R give me their experience with this light and give opinions on what we intend to utilize it for.
Thank you
Side note...
We really wanted the "DIABLO 650R " but we are not ready to spend a grand on a experiment. Second was a pair of 350R's , again , too much $ for a first go with LED's Third was a 600R which is still on the table but a few hundred more than the 350r.
Thanks again and appreciate everyone who contributes to answering.
