Strains that were developed in mountainous regions (Afghani, Swiss, Kush) would maybe be more resistant to cold, and more sativa-ish plants, like Thai, African, etc. may resist higher temperatures better.

Just an 'educated' guess.

Dutch passion has a shitload of seeds made for the dutch outdoor climate and they got the same weather as us, might be worth a look?

bah... my room gets down to 50 at night... not ideal but I don't find I'm having any serious issues (when we grow outside we only worry about freezing temperatures killing plants, so...)

I agree with mismos00,

A lot of information given in good faith on this board has to do with OPTIMUM growing conditions to get MAXIMUM YIELD. A lot of people are talking about large grows where those factors ARE the driving force.

I checked my MAX/MIN temp got to 52 degrees last night. Not an issue.

I worry about high temps... like over 90 degrees. But not to much.

I worry about mildew, spider mites, etc.

Good Luck on your grow.

Peace - :joint::peace:

Keep in mind that, photosynthesis stops at 55 degrees f. If I could make a suggestion, get a small heater with a thermostat. I purchased one at lowes for 20 bucks with a thermostat and it has a fan built in to circulate air.

Keep in mind that photosynthesis stops when the lights go out.

So 55 degrees in the Dark doesn't change much. :blsmoke:
