hot shot no pest strips

hey guys i was wondering could you use these hot shot no pest strips to prevent mites/gnats or do you only use em when u see the bugs

I'm using them from now to prevent anything from coming in. They also knocked down a gnat problem I was having pretty quickly.

Highly recommended form of preventive medicine.

another question do u keep it there 24/7 thru the whole grow? or jst until they all die

they work, mine didn't last too long though....I have a smallish (2X4x6) cabinet and I kept bumping into it, that shit is a pain in the ass when it gets all mashed in your hair...

They work great. I keep mine in a ziplock bag for freshness and pull it out when needed. When I use mine I turn off ALL fans (intake & exhaust) and leave it in the cabinet for the entire dark period, then stick it back in the ziplock to use for another day. If using to kill spider mites it would be best to follow up after a few days to kill the spider mites that will hatch afterwards. Good Luck. OUT!

Personally, I wouldn't risk it. I hold my breath when I remove them from the vapor filled cabinet. I don't use them in my flower area JUST IN CASE the poisonous vapor got into the buds, again, for me its not worth the risk of smoking or ingesting poison. I use Azamax on my flowering plants for pest control. It can be watered in and the plant begins to dispose of it after 21 days, so you can time it right for harvest.

these things rule. I use 1 per grow. Never have any bug problems. Had some mites a while back. Turned off my exhaust at night for a week. Killed the mites and ive never had any since. I bought two years worth.
