Hot Shots No Pest Strip - Damage Plants? Need help!

Hey guys,

I have another thread in which I thought my plant issues were nute deficiency/pH issues but it occurred to me it could be other things.

I have been using Hot Shots No Pest Strips in the clone room ever since it was built. I just leave it hanging there. I use a exhaust fan for the room that is about 80-90CFM (it's a cheap clamp on fan taped to a 6" duct).

Is it possible that the fumes from the Hot Shots strip would cause this kind of damage?

Amen. They are fine to use if there's a problem. If your home is well ventilated (windows open), the toxic fumes of the strips probably remain localized to your grow area. I'm currently using one in my basement grow room... with one mature plant, one young plant, and 4 seedlings. I'm not seeing any plant damage... nor have I ever experienced any plant damage because of them.

btw... if you need to keep your windows closed, try to limit the usage of no pest strips.

I've never seen damage caused by these strips. they work well against mites.

agreed. i've had them enclosed in my tent and i never saw any ill effects to the plants. they're fairly effective for the cost. i try to limit their use, though. mostly because of all the warnings on there.
