This is right before transplant into flowering... taking photos for tomorrow right now

The group of 4 are House and Garden. Two on the left are Jack Herer and the two on the right are Grape God.

The group of 6 are Super Soil. Three on top are Jack Herer and the three on bottom are Grape God

Although totally possible Grape God does not take well to Low Stress Training, I advise to top instead.

The first four plants are House and Garden. The first 2 are Grape God. The next two are Jack Herer.

The last 6 plants are Super Soil. The first 3 are Grape God. The last 3 are Jack Herer.

Note: the system for adding photos is terrible. I cannot reorient some photos although they are correctly oriented in preview mode, photoshop, and iphoto. Also, photos do not organize or load themselves they way they are chosen to make for a great annoyance.

So far it looks like House and Garden is doing a little better than Super Soil. Internode spacing is shorter and bud sites are more numerous on H&G. I didn't know that these things were affected by different nutrients and could very well not be. Any comments or additional thoughts would be appreciated.

I have tried this many times and it has failed. There is a specific species of BT that attacks these annoying pests. Also sticking some slices of potato on top of your soil draws the larvae from the roots and can help you control their population or rid yourself of them all together.

Thanks for update, they look great. It's nice to know House & Garden is working well. I have been using H&G for almost 4 year's now with a few other thing's (Cal-mag when needed) Compost tea, etc. And have had great results. Peace

Did you use clones for eachs train?

Is it true you did not let the Super Soil sit for atleast 30 days?

Ive read and reread your posts, and have come to the conclusion that you didn;t let the soil cook. The clones you used---they were all from the same mother plant?

How long did you let the super soil cook?

Hopefully you can provide some clarification? Thank you.

I wouldn't neccesarily say the H&G is blowing it out but it does seem to be performing better. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes but the SS did not cook for as long as it should and the grow has yet to conclude. Maybe subcool can charm in.

You cannot accurately call your results because you did not properly let your Super Soil cook. Therefore, imho, it is not super soil, but really just some additives into a soil based medium.

I dont think Subcool will chime in, solely because it cannot be considered Super Soil. Sub is pretty adamant that you follow his recipe and directions precisely, and to not veer from his path.

I am not trying to flame your thread....I appreciate your attempt to show the benefits of each system, as well as your ambition to get facts from your results and share them with the community. However, for me to make an accurate judgment based off an uncontrolled experiment that contains incorrect methods and then take those results as fact--well that would be just plain wrong.

I'd say re-do the experiment, let the soil cook for the proper amount of time, and add a control group in as well. I am willing to lend you any help or information I may possess, so don;t hesitate to shoot me a message if you so decide this route.

Hmm your last two updates went from no bud sites to massive buds in a span of a day... did you just not update regularly?
