House Marked for Robbery

Well i am a college student and me and my brother bought a house last year where we go to school. A mexican gang in this town has been marking houses in my neighborhood to be robbed. The do it by spray painting a small blue dot on your back alley fence. (Basically one block in my neighborhood is 2 rows of houses back to back with an alley in between with dumpsters and stuff) Well sure enough mine about 5 other houses that share the alley way on our block are marked. Not to mention quite a few other houses throughout the area. Scary shit. But we put up beware of dog signs everywhere today (I have a 110lb pure bred german shepherd that can do some damage). But this definitely has me creeped out. Looks like i might finally get some use out of my .45 though. Thoughts?

let your neighbors in on the situation
Ya man i went around scrubbing off a bunch of paint where houses are marked. And i have a state trooper that im cool with and he lives 4 houses down.

But if shit did go down i would be worried because i have quite a few different valuable items in my house. I talked to my buddy who used to be pretty deep in the shit out here and he said its supposed to happen this weekend or sometime next week. So im just gonna kick it this weekend and stay strapped just in case

better yet an 12 guage home defender works well too. The .45 you have to worry about strays hitting someone like a neighbor. Thats why .22's and home defenders are good. The rounds are small nuff that they won't go thru a wall at distance with much oomph behind em. A .40 or a .45 is really dangerous for collateral dammage..
