household nutes

Does anybody know of any household nutes i can use for flowering?
im already using molasses.
I read that if you crush egg shells it gives the plant protein. Has anyone used this method?

Crushed oyster shell, wood ash, composted leaves, worm castings, wait sorry you said household. Umm, you can get blood meal and bone meal from most places.

Yes, ash is actually a very good low grade fertilizer. It will not show results overnight but in the long run ash is actually very good for all plants. A friend of mine owned a lot before he built his house on it and we would go there to party, have bonfires, etc. After the house was built and sod installed, the next spring and all through summer there was a distinct circle in his lawn that was greener, healthier, and had less weed growth than the rest of his yard. This of course was where the bonfire pit was. Ash is good, but again, don't expect to see any instant, noticeable results.

Cool im going to try that. Can you just put on top of your soil or do you have to mix it in???

Does anybody else have any suggestions ???

i made a fire last night in a tin can thing so i can catch the ashes.


do i put it on top of the soil or mix it in??????

you can use tons of things...crushed tums, caffine(coffee grounds), fruit stuff like apple peelings ( i mix into the soil) lots of things :)


p.s. - certain wood ashes also keep bugs away :)

try to mix the wood ashes into the soil. They are immobile elements, and the more incorporated, the more absorption.

IT WILL ACT SLOWLY, BUT RAISE YOUR PH UP!!! MONITOR IT!!

ever make soap?....getcha a big tub,filler full of wood ashes(oak or hickory oak best) put that over a wheel barro,getcha a hose pipe and leach the crap outta that thing. now you have a VERY,VERY high test "K" solution.

I can PM you the recipes for CANNA nutes if you want them,you can buy the ingredients from ebay.
Not household but branded nutes for cheap as chips!
