i think its just in too big a pot, the roots are taking a while to spread out and fill that huge pot. i don't think you're gonna see much happen above the soil till the roots catch up underneath. why did you put a seedling in a 3 gallon pot?
I would have to agree. Those need to be in a way smaller container.

Well they said not to transplant Autoflowers......at this rate I think maybe for the first couple weeks you might get away with it as far as transplanting and not causing any delay I am just going by what was suggested at this point. But if the other ones do the same that means they are delayed anyways.....or worse...All it took was one heavier watering and spraying them poof the big one took a crap. the other two are fine. I am going to go straight RO from now on with 1/8th jacks and adding a some silica and cal/mag low strength next watering.as there is nothing for them to feed off in the soil.

Anyhow not watering the whole pot was probably a mistake after they got going.

I wouldn't have watered that whole entire pot either with such a tiny plant .......all my seeds I start with a spray bottle keeping it moist and then I get a water bottle poke holes in the lid so when I water it's not to much and it comes out like a sprinkler ......I wouldn't give that little seedling 3 gallons of wet medium

not 3 gallons.....enough over the whole top of the surface to allow the roots to grow freely.outward.

I was giving them 8-10 squirts.....maybe 1 oz of water or so? It was my fault for not adjusting the amount of water to more as the plant grew. Stunted the roots I think the results are what you see soon as I watered just a little more

I thought by watering them sparingly and only in a small area around them 1-2 inches it would act like an air pot....

Oh ok it sounded like you were guna soak that bitch lol .....if I was in your exact shoes if be using a water bottle and only watering about a 5 inch circle in the middle and no more than like half a water bottle full of water maybe even just a quarter of a water bottle full ......I just poke a bunch of small holes in the screw on lid that way when I squeeze it it comes out like a small sprinkler ....just water a few inches out around it and make sure your getting water down a few inches the sprinkler method works because it soaks the medium instead of pouring through

Yeah working on that right now.....the squirt thing aint cutting it.

I have a couple AZ tea bottles I have saved for that.

I do trays of seedlings this way ...it's the easiest method I've found for hand watering little ones and you can watch how much water your giving in that larger pot also it soaks the medium good .....on your next water day just fill bottle with what you think you'll need for your seedlings and go down the row and give em a good squeeze make your circle of water around them ...wait a couple minutes then go over them again .....as they grow obviously water more and more of your medium GL

See that watering amount in the pic you posted? I never watered that much or even close until the last watering and that's when the bigger one said holy shit water!!! no roots!!! aaahh!!!

why the little ones havent done the same thing I have no idea...
That's a good example of how big you want your circle of water in comparison to the plant in a large pot .....and a lot of the guys I know personally start there autos in there final pot ......

Ok, No FOOD.....and lack of water....seems to be the issue. I Also have too much wind blowing in from the intake at the bottom across the plants and 2 small fans blowing I think.

It was very bad, those bottom leaves were basically wilted flat to the ground and yellow.

( I didn't even take a picture because it was so hopeless and disgusting )

I went into emergency mode the other day and watered much more than before and fed them (RO water with Jacks Palm and Cal/Mag ) around 120 ppm) after seeing the two bottom leaves start to turn yellow and start wilting flat across the ground. Turned off the inside fans and just had the intake moving air around. I decided to leave the lights on 24/7 to make sure the humidity stayed low which it did at around 40-45%

For sure being too careful about watering and using too little created an issue with the roots not being able to expand as much into the medium as they could as the plants grew bigger.

The Problem seedling is recovering and the leaves actually are starting to shine a little and raise off the ground. It also looks to be growing taller slightly.

Still not perfect, but much better than it was 24 hours ago....Will be watching and hoping...

The third seedling is IMHO not the same pheno type and is much different esp the color. The leaves are somewhat skinnier....perhaps a male?

Seedling #2 ( Similar to #1 Pheno type ) this one has most of the intake air blowing across it.
