Hello everyone and thanks for checking out my thread. This is my first time ever growing and I really want to get some experienced grower's feedbacks. Please feel free to ask me question or better yet guide me or give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance!
I would like to start by apologizing about the quality of the pictures haha. They were taken from my G1 phone. Also I currently have 2 projects going at once. All plants were grown from seeds. The small one that are my soil grown because I didnt have time to put together my aeroponics. They are my purple haze, there are 2 that are bigger and older than others, which are about almost a month old. The other babies are almost 3 weeks old. I created like a lighting dome in which I used 2 24in grow light flurescent, 2 18in grow light flurescent, and a 24in shop light that has 2 24in grow light flurescent. I'm currently working on a CFL lighting system in which i'll replace instead of the light dome thing. I have a fan that blows fresh air and homemade CO2. I am going to make a grow box soon after I finishing making the CFL lighting systems. Ofc also in need a vent fan :[ If only I had more time haha
My other project is my aeroponics which I used a 30 gal, 196gph pump and 360 degree sprayers from homedepot. Those are my Cali Crystals, They are excatly 1 week old. I have not gave them nutrients yet and I also havent checked the PH (I really need to do that). The roots are starting to touch the water. I also need to get a timer in which I would want to limit the sprays to 1 min on and 5 min off. Can anyone tell me where I could get those? thanks. Anyways I made the frame out of PVC pipes and covered the thing with survival blanket. Has anyone else tried survival blankets? haha. They reflect really well inside but can also be see thru from the other side (pretty cool), they also help keep in some temperature (can be good/bad). The lights that I'm using is 2 24in shoplight that each has 2 24in grow flurescent. I'm also going to which that out with a CFL light system soon too. I also put water in the yellow cap so that it would create some humidity. I havent established my fans for fresh air and vent. I will be doings that this week hopefully.
I was wondering when I should start giving my aeroponic babies nutrients? Btw I got GH micro and bloom, I didnt get gro :X
