how and when to top plant first grow! ?

If you have a pic why not just post it? Anyway, I usually top at the 4th node. Yes it makes the tops double which makes the plant bushier. But the more tops you have the smaller the colas. I top and LST as well.

My plant is 5 weeks old I need to know when I should top and where at on plant I have a pic for you to see and what is purpose I heard stuff like makes bushier etc...can't upload pic sorry

theres loads of topping tutorials on youtube,if youre able to watch those,do so.

ok i just uploaded 2 photos sorry im new to this can you explain a cola please and if i top can the plant get to top heavy or does the plants stem get bigger and stronger as well

you can just bend it and tie it to a stake (with string for example). its better to let it branch out before you get a clone. I think you might kill it if you top it now.

I agree with J.F. Sebastian; you can top after the fourth node although you can use techniques as in; Cropping, bending, LST, Scrog,Sog,etc. Keep in mind you can top anytime, preferably during the green (vegetative) growth.

Personally I top mine when I have 3 growth nodes. Look at your top of your plant and cut under growth node and allow your plant to heal what you done for about a week prior to doing any other form of pruning method. Purposes of topping is to control vertical growth because after you top the growth hormone shoots down the plant, makes your plant stout, and divides primary cola into smaller uniform colas.
