How are leaves supposed to grow?

So I have two plants and on both of them i see that the first set of leaves stopped growing and then the next one was alot bigger, that seems normal, but then the next sets did about the same, everywhere i see pictures the plants are growing like a christmas tree, big leaves on bottom, new growth on top. Mine have smaller leaves at bottom, bigger at top. Is that just how these strains behave or what?

you have only just entered the vegetative stage, this is perfectly normal.

Actually the biggest plant is starting to flower. About 10 pistils. ( Yes, they are not stipules, they are pistils.)
The smallest is vegging and will be for a looooong time. Biggest is an autoflower, so that's that.

is it crowning or are they just preflower pistils?

I understand it's not really a problem, I thought maybe this was a sign of some kind of a problem but not a problem itself. Calm down, I aprecciate that you are helping people, and thanks for your advice.

Monkeybones, I understood it's just preflowers? They're at the last nodes,not on the top. Thanks everybody, sorry if I Jump in here while others have much bigger problems.

your fine...some people obviously don't have anything to smoke on If you think you have a problem with your plant..this is the place for it. If it turns out it isn't a problem and perfectly normal..its not like you knew, this is why you asked the question! She is looking good!

no no this is perfect actually. that's how it goes the leaves with less blades in the start of the plant isn't destined to get as large as the 5 or 7 bladers!! so it's kind of like a bejeweled diamond if you will !!
this kind of thing is nothing to be worried about too many people worry obessively over small things the real problem is things that will hurt the plant and cause it to hermie or something.
no small leaf cut, bite, tear is going to affect all such naturally occur in nature. it only major problems you need be careful like nute burn and flooding

actually i took out those leaves because i had a early nute burn problem and those leaves looked pretty darn bad and crumpled up so i clipped them after a while
so my first set of fan leaves on the plant is a 7 blader now... all done and well. and now 32 days after seed. i have gotten a pure female plant

Yeah I had a chlorine burn and it was all the way to the main stem so i cut one set off too . It starts with a five blader.

It had an issue earlier now its come out of that and its growing as normal, but you will always be able to see the shitty small leaves from the issue it had.

I have 2 plants .... completely different strains ..... they are BOTH only producing 3 finger leaves. Is there a point in their growing process where they will start producing 5-7 fingers on each leaf ??? The lesser quality one is 12" and the high test is 6" ... they were both started at the same time. Am I OK or is there a problem ?

Every plant will have a genetic flaw at some point... Its a matter of the autoflower strain... If you recall the veitnam blue is auto flowering and it will show leaves that have smooth outter edges instead of the classic jagged edges... But remember no matter what give it thw love and right environment and things will work out ...BTW looks to be a nice one...uvking
