Once they start flowering you may want to start giving them nutes. They look good though on the second bucket I saw some yellow leaves.Dirrtyd

oh yea thats a older pic 4 days ago there all green now and i trimmed the 3ft sativa down a little....hopefully i get a nice yield.

if ur hoping for bigger yields u might want to go with bigger pots... at the bare minimum if i were doin pots i would have them in 25 gallon pots, but thats just me.

nah I have plants that have been growing in 3gallon pots since march that are still growing just fine I would keep them where they are at and start feeding them some nutes

I have 2 foot plants in 3 gallon pots and there still growing strong...do what you think will work...i hate transplanting so I try to grow straight into 5 gallons or in my case 3 gallons

i've never had a problem with transplanting. if you let the plant grow till its roots fill the pot then you can just pull the plant out with all the dirt still attached and re-pot it.

its harder when ur transplanting out of a 3gal or bigger....and yea if the root system isnt fully rooted in the pot you'll have problems with taking it out

You should grow your seedling in a 2 1/2 -1 gal pot then transplant when the 1 gal is rooted to the sides and bottom. A 5 gal pot will grow a very nice plant, and if you are good could easily produce 6-8 ounces or more outside.

Putting a small seedling in a large pot right after germination is not a good idea. The lower portion of the pot does not have enough roots early on to use the extra water in the bottom of the pot and can stunt growth because of slow drainage. Always transplant seedlings or newly rooted cuttings to a small pot until rooted ( 2 1/2 in - 1 gal), then transfer to the larger pot for growing on. This is an industry standard in the greenhouse business. Up-sizing too quickly causes extra losses.

good stuff bro. yea i really didnt want to start the seed in a 5gal didn't want to burn my young grape ape. i went form 1gal to a 5 gal....the sativa is gonna be over 3ft now.. and the grape is gonna be over 2ft in a little. so i can get 6-8 oz?

You will be rewarded well with plants that are that size now. Don' set some maximum figure for harvest and be disappointed if you don' reach that goal. You have till the end of Sep to end of Oct to finish these plants and they should be a nice large bush by then. The sativa will take longer to finish than the grape. If you grow indoors now would be a good time to tip the branches for cuttings for the next grow if you know these were female clones when planted. You could pinch the tips of the branches and bush out the plant even if you don't know the sex yet.
