how best to remove smell from exhaust fan?

Is there good methods to remove the smell from air by the exhaust fan?

Carbon filter....some might even suggest an ozone generator...depends on your needs and preference i suppose

how about grow room in residential areas. neighbors are only few feet away.

Most would say carbon filter. Good but can be expensive. Ozone works well IF set up and tuned/adjusted properly. Search the threads, there a lot of info already posted about odor control. In fact, there is an odor control thread around here somewhere
