How big will a plant get??? Post your pics here.

These were like 6-8 ft. mostly, but they finished a ft. or so taller

i started this thread because i thought i was doing great, buy now i think my 8 footer is one of the smaller ones. guess i'll be shooting for 10 ft next year. wheezer , i want to be YOUR neighbor...

To answer your original question, no, you wouldn't be wasting your time. I have to warn you though, you have to have the plant down to the natural light cycle when you put it out, or it will flower on you. Different strains, different places are all different, you have to plan it carefully. It might not work in some places at all.

God -- This is why growing outdoors always kills indoor. God damn las vegas sun.

yeah, i know about the light thing. if i do it i'll be putting it out about the begining of may. which around here gives mr about 15 hrs +/- of dayliht so i'll run 15/9 from sprout. i should be able to match my cycles to my transplant time. last year i started some the end of december and purposely grew them at 40+/- degrees which slowed the growth in height but allowed me to top and bush them so the were 2 ft when i put them out with the biggest stalks you ever saw on a plant that size.

my question is... how in the world do you have a plant that size so close to your house.. im guessing your not in the states and if you are you must be a wealthy politician or some shit.. lol wtf

What the "f" are you guys feeding those things? I heard (a long time ago) that turkey shit was the bomb for growing plants as big as those.

i feed mine whatever 30-10-10 with "micronutrients" lowes or homedepot has for veg. i think it said orchid food. and then 10-30-10 with micronutrients for flowering. bloom booster any brand. i like peters. also outside i feed them 2 gallons of 1 1/2 strenght fert twice a week and water it in a little. i've found that growing outside takes away all worry of over feeding. i haven't been able to feed them enough to even get one burn tip. i stopped increasing the ferts when after a couple of months i started to show a slight nitrogen overload. as far as why its so close to the house is because i have a very small yard in a very small neighbor hood. besides my garden already has 6 others.

Not great, not bad, but OK. Next year, I know what I will do differently to grow plants twice this size.

woops forgot to mention that you can beat the trip into flower in the spring with a little bit of supplemental cfl lighting until the days get long enough
