title says it all... what are different ways I can get the THC off my dry trim?

make sure you freeze it first. then ya can make hash keif or whatever

start off with very very dry trim/leaf (as much as you want, probably not worth your time to do less then 10 ounces which will give you about 10 grams of the finest hash you'll ever smoke
-fill blender 2/3 full with trim
-throw in a few ice cubes (just enough to make it relly cold but not frothie, frothie will not work nearly as good if at al)
-fill rest of way with water (leave room for spinnig)
-blend on high(start slow and work up) for 1-1 1/2 minutes until nice and smooth
-Pour mixture through Gold (metal) coffe filter into 2 or preferable three liter soda bottle
-repaet until bottle is full and put in fridge
-Fill as many bottles as you can (depends on how much trim/leaf you started with)
-let each bottle settle for 45 min to an hour(better)
-after "stuff" has settled siphon the water out of the bottles down to about 1 inch above settled matter
- carefully cut top of bottle off without shaking up settled stuff
-Pour remaining water and stuff through regular(disposable) coffe filter
-line a paper plate with a few layers of paper towels
- dump/scape off stuff from inside of coffe filter onto papaer plates (will not stick, trust me)
-carefully pat off excess water with papaer towel
-Shape as you wish
-leave exposed and let dry at least overnight (usually 36-48 60 hours until fully dried)

it will be very greenish in color at first but turns dark brown as it dries out, remember a few tokes will do it with this amazing hash.

If the question he's asking is how to collect the pollen- or keif then telling him to make hash still leaves him with a question...

I'm assuming you're wondering how to collect the keif/pollen similar to that which is caught in your grinder? I've found a really cheap and effective way to collect keif off my trim. Of course there are bubble bags and the iceolator- two methods that would certainly produce a lower yield/higher quality hash then my method but they will cost over 100$.

My method is pretty cheap- if you live in the united states you can go to Michael's arts and supply store and i know for a fact they have molding clay screen. Its meant for making large sculptures and supporting the clay. It has nearly the exact same micron (size of hole) screen as your grinder. Build a wooden frame and attach the screen with a staple gun- build another wooden frame and buy a glass picture frame, build the frame around the glass. You can either hinge them together convinently- or leave them seperately.

Bang the top frame on top of the other and all your keif will fall through the screen and collect on the glass- a razorblade will then scoop it up. From there you can press it in the oven, or hash press, or even your shoe to make keif hash.

I like that method alot. But then again I also just like to top my bowls with the powder, seems more efficent.

which reminds me, I've got my very last bowl of my Trainwreck with some Trainwreck keif on it- sitting to my right. Better finish what I started

if your broke ass then make butter or cooking oil..

the easiest way is to make oil .. get a gallon of veg oil put it a pot put your trim in the oil bring it up to hot not boiling but hot to touch. then turn it on low and let it simmer all day .. pull out the trim and add more trim until your all outta trim... strain through a strainer to get out the bits and sticks..pour back into the oil jug ...you can use this to cook anything that calls for veggy oil from brownies to salad oil..use the same as the recipe calls for or doulble down if ya really wanna get baked ..

or buy a shit ton of butte, chop your trim up, melt you butter pour a gallon of water in a pot dump in your trim dump in the butter. simmer for an hour or two .. take out the old trim add fresh trim simmer for an hour or so repeat until all your trim has been cooked .. take all trim out of this solution and strain it ... place in freezer until butter floats to the top and hardens then scoup that out and ya have ganja butter..use it for brownies cookies grilled cheese whatever you use butter for....

making hash in considered a "way to collect the thc off of the leaves" you don't keif the trim and THEN make hash. The blender method shocks the THC crystals with cold and then by blending it it shakes the crystals off of the trim, thus "getting the thc off of the dry trim"

BKCSG I am aware of that. And it definitely comes of as if i didn't, but again- and until he clarifies- i was simply trying to answer what I thought was his real question. Considering he didnt ask how to make hash from trim, but instead asked how to get the THC (I'm assuming he has a grinder, and calls the keif the THC believing its the 'pure' thc of the plant) and if this were the question- then again, of all those methods that I have heard of- I think the best method to get what he was originally seeking would be getting a keif screen frame.

You can buy them pre-made for 100-200 depending on how fancy the wood and cuts are, or you can make 4 of them for 100 dollars and give out sweet presents to all your stoner friends. I made 8x10's and they work great for my bud. The ones for my trim are much larger so i can just dump it all on it and tap it like a drum til the keif sprinkles off.

I've collect enormous piles of keif. Like 20 grinders full, and I would just smoke hole bowls of keif, press keif, oven keif, hot knife keif, lots of ways and its hard hits to the dome that give you that ice cream stoner headache and sweaty palms. Far out.

But yes- Iceolator and Bubblehash are of much higher quality, but that enormous pile wouldnt have been as much hash- and certainly wouldnt have lasted me as long.

However- soon enough I will try them myself. I am just stuck on efficency with my keif- I like to have enough to make it last the same as the harvest. topping as many bowls as I want.

hey alsmost forgot... we used to make this shit we called green dragon which was everclear or moonshine with as much trim shoved in a quart jar and let soak for a week .. then add more trim until we ran out of trim which was never so it got really strong and would fuck yer head up proper..

Get a silk screen and run the thrim over the top. Put a mirror or a piece of glass under it and voila! Kief, which you can just top a bowl with or press it into hash.
