Why do you want to raise your ppms? Do your plants look deficient in nutrients?

To raise ppms increase your nutrients. If there's no sign of deficiency, you shouldn't raise the ppms unless you have another reason to believe you're underfeeding.

Give plants drink at 1/2 reg. ppm wait Hr. give nutz. full ppm.. Some posters say this works, never tried it myself.

To get back to productive conversation: it occurred to me that you might be confusing PH and PPM? You said your plants thrive on PH and then asked how to increase PPM? Were you asking how to raise PH? If so, that would explain some of the uncharitable responses you received.

PPM is directly related to how much minerals/salts you put in the water. Reverse Osmosis water has about 10ppm. Some tap water in mineral-heavy areas can have 700ppm (which is why people use RO water because 700ppm doesn't leave a lot of room for other salts like N, P & K.).

It's still unclear why you feel you need to increase your PPM (feed strength). If you're not having deficiencies, there's no reason. If you have a PPM pen you'd know what the PPM is (before and after adding nutrients) and how it compares to others who use Hesi nutes. It doesn't sound like you have that information either. So, still not sure why you feel you should raise PPM.

If you meant ph, the easiest thing to use is a commercial product called ph-up. There are household items you can use like baking soda, but that can build up in the soil. People usually use dolomite lime in the soil to hold ph higher through the grow, and ph-up to keep their nutrients at around 6.5.

I ask a basic question instead of helping you take a shot at me
did you read anything before you started your endeavor?

how do you know about ppm's in the first place?

it's like asking "how do i pour soil into the bucket"?

if you had a basic understanding by reading or reading the label before you came here, you'd have your answer.

one thing: have you invested $200 in your carbscrub yet?..do you know what one is?

seriously, i'm not trying to be mean rather "tough love"..you need to understand certain concepts before moving from point a to point b..the why?..you need this basic training.

ppm: part per million (increase: more solution, decrease: more water) tap is usually around 100ppms which is included in your overall measure of solution.*

ph: solution acidity (lower ph: lemon juice, increase: baking soda)

*keep in mind when you add nutes to water it significantly lowers ph..you nute your water to the desired ppm's then ph it..in that order..once you ph it that will change the ppms again usually around 50-100..just leave it or (what i do) slightly under ppm to pre-correct the ph ppm.
